The problem with devout Atheists

Another great endorsement for Yoism from the New York times. This article discusses the need for religion as part of humanity, and why the atheists fail to recognise this basic human drive. While, at the same time Richard Dawkins tries to tap into it with his "Brights" declaring, with as much zeal as a religious fundamentalist, that God/ Yo does not exist, without a lot of evidence for God's non-existence.

Dutch ban birqas

The generally tolerant Dutch have taken the step of banning its citizens from wearing birqas in public as they believe it inhibits integration and public safety. While this is probably partially true, it does seem to be somewhat of an infringement of personal freedom. It seems to make sense in some areas, like not being able to wear a motorcycle helmet into a service station for safety reasons, but it does seem a little unnecessary and probably difficult to enforce as well.

Sir Elton says "No" to organised religion

Sir Elton has come to the conlusion that all organised religion is anti-gay. This is true of most organised religions other than Yoism. I'm not sure of the Bahai stance on homosexuality, but according to Sir Elton, it is a no go. It seems Sir Elton has come upon the stumbling block of gay friendly, unorganised humanism, and gay unfriendly unorganised religions. Our answer, Open Source religion.
